In Love

In the world above, what's left to love,
After disaster strikes in the hands of a glove.
Part broken, part unseen,
How fragile the world can be.

Leaving alone the ones who’ve shone,
Any compassion for the unknown.
Hearts on their sleeve, blowing with the breeze,
Showing how much they have grown.

Too much to tell so we try and repel,
Any hope of help we can get.
Not knowing we fell straight into hell,
But it’s too late so we start to regret.

And so he shines a light on me,
In hopes that one day we will both be free.
And we put up with everything,
In hopes to find the one true meaning… In love.
