Lost the Game

Location

The lightning strikes in the sky/ You lie in bed with it on your mind/ The thunder rolls, the drug kicks in/ Then you realize you're not gonna win/ It's taken over your body, your life/ But you can't resist it, no matter how hard you try/ When you wake, the day anews/ You have a decision, you have to choose/ You make your choice, you shoot it in/ Looks like you've went down that road again/ You sit in guilt, you drown in tears/ But then it takes away your fears/ You hold my hand, I start to cry/ You see the tears drip from my eyes/ You promised me you'd soon be through/ But that same day away you flew/ So it ends; needle in your skin/ You lost the game, you let it win
