The little sea witch

There she was swimming
Poor little thing
Never even realising
What life would come to bring
Right now she was a guppy
A little sea child
Not knowing that one day
She would be so wild
Ursula they called her
Full of joy and youthful bliss
But one day when she got older
Her joy changed to bitterness
Her older sister Larissa
The meanest of the two
Had stolen the heart
Of a young boy named Luke
Luke was a handsome
A child of the water
A merman they said
like his mother and his father
Ursula had fallen in love beyond reach
Larissa had been strolling on the beach
Luke took notice and not thinking twice
Went to Larissa
assuming that she was nice
But if course it was a trap
A way to get rid
Of the boy who had fallen for a squid
We don't know what happened to Larissa or Luke
But we do know how Ursula
and her only truth
That she was once young and carefree
Like one little mermaid in the future will be.
