Little Red Delusion

Thu, 08/17/2017 - 21:30 -- Luper99

I sat alone in the quiet evening, wondering when I had had my last bite.

Until I sought a small female fetus with a basket of delights.

"Granny will be so pleased I brought her all these treats."

"But soon," I thought "this little girl will surely make good meat."

She skipped and jumped and ran about the dark damp forest floor

And I, the wolf, stalked steadily like the monster I was born.

"Hello little girl, what's your rush?" I hunched over to ask

"Well Mr. Wolf, I'm on my way to feed my great old hag."

And then I thought a dasterdly thought of my meal soon to come.

"Not one but two." I licked my lips just thinking of the sum.

"Why not take me on your journey to your SWEET Grandmothers dwelling."

"Well Granny said do not delay, plus her belly won't be swelling."

"Oh! Swell!" I thought aloud with joy, "The day has finally came!"

But just right then the girl had vanished, but I was not to blame.

I then woke up that night in a cold sweat with tears running down my eyes.

"Why do I keep having these dreams? I'm a vegetarian now! No Lies!"

But just right then, I looked around and saw half of grannys broken frown

The little girls chewed up carcass, the blood that stained the whole apartment

The stench and sight of precious meat, was I the one that feels defeat?

And there I lie awake just then, wondering who I am again

My red cape on and rope in hand...

This wolf shall never strike again.
