My mother’s embrace is my home and in her arms I am never alone. People attack me with words, words that pierce my soul like daggers. I am not fierce nor am I bold so I cannot help the tears that pour like rain as I am in pain. When I am surrounded by mother’s arms I am reminded to love those who contribute to my happiness and to let go of past frustrations by forgiving those who have often left me forsaken.

My mother’s embrace is my home and in her arms I am never alone. When I gaze into the mirror I can pinpoint my imperfections, analyze every flaw in my facial expressions and imagine the best body to catch the eye of whomever I desired. When I am surrounded by mother’s arms I am reminded to respect my self and realize that true beauty comes from within the heart and not what always lies on the outside.

My mother’s embrace is my home and in her arms I am never alone. The struggles of life bring on times of misery and It is common for me to feel as if my presence has no meaning in a world filled with such negativity. When I am surrounded by my mother’s arms I am reminded to appreciate what god has given me and to treat my mistakes as little lessons that I can learn to benefit from as I grow old.
