My childhood was full of dreams

Dreams that included a house full of dogs

And a yard full of livestock

I was devastated at age four

When I realized my mother would never allow this

While I lived under the roof of her house

At age sixteen I found a loophole

On a facebook whim I found my little corner of kindness

A rescue called Corner of Kindness

March of 2016 brought our seven month anniversary

Seven foster animals and many satisfied smiles

It also brought a new position for me in the rescue

I stepped up to be on the board

And my days became full of puppy kisses

And cuddly furever homes

My 24/7 position became my source of light

Allowing me to dig deep into the underground rescue world

I saw the ups and downs but found something to make my heart glow
