Lifelines

They say

That two is company, and three's a crowd

I don't quite feel the same.

No matter the amount, good friends are priceless,

Whether wild or tame.

My lifelines are my friends and family.

Without them, I'd be slain.

Their support, love, pride and dedicaton

Are all that keeps me sane.

I'd be useless without them,

Like a candle with no flame.

Just a pretty face,

With no support to claim.

My lifelines are what have made me

More than just a face and name.

After everything, I am forever grateful

For their loving and enthusiastic acclaim.
