Life goes on

Life is a gift
That we should hold dear,
Living fully in each moment
Till the end is near

Dying unnaturally
Brings more than tears,
It haunts forever
Leaving people in fear

The sadness hangs heavy
With those left behind,
Your tracks forever messy
From not saying goodbye

Tomorrow is new
So much could change,
Couldn’t you wait?
For it’s a new day

You want the pain to end
So you can just be done,
But remember what I say
That life does go on.

This poem should really speak to the people who were suicidal and to those who are currently dealing with depression and suicide. Taking your own life affects everyone around you. Although it seems like you can't go on and you think you're ready to give up, remember this poem and what it says; life does go on. What is occurring today, may be the smallest of issues tomorrow.
