a letter to someone I know

Stop twitching every time you mumble those around you worry

they wonder what you say under your breath when you make those jokes people get uncomfortable unsure of whether to laugh along

or call the police

stop shaking

the panic attacks you have in the corner make those around you uncomfortable

do we ask you if you need help

you walk with such a sadness

and rhythm to you

the type that says you rather be dead

i can't tell if we should worry

or if it’s just who you are

and you hear all these stories about people dying

but you think oh that could never happen to someone i know

until it does

so don't go

and ask for help

we miss you

we will miss you Stop twitching every time you mumble those around you worry

they wonder what you say under your breath when you make those jokes people get uncomfortable unsure of whether to laugh along

or call the police

stop shaking

the panic attacks you have in the corner make those around you uncomfortable

do we ask you if you need help

you walk with such a sadness

and rhythm to you

the type that says you rather be dead

i can't tell if we should worry

or if it’s just who you are

and you hear all these stories about people dying

but you think oh that could never happen to someone i know

until it does

so don't go

and ask for help

we miss you

we will miss you
