Justice

She's in chains.
She's behind bars.
She's alone.
But she's innocent until proven guilty?

He trespassed.
He raped.
He murdered.
But he pays and is free?

They lost their daughter to a gun and a man.
They're crying.
They're broken.
But they're happy when he's injected to her same fate.

It's wrong.
It's corrupt.
It's destroying humanity and the concept of justice and the base of morality.
It is reality,
But it shouldn't be.

The innocent are not treated guilty.
Payment is not a punishment.
Two deaths does not resurrect a life.
This is not working.
