Just a little

Proverbs 16:6

In mercy and truth
Atonement is provided for iniquity;
And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.

Just a little

Nothing seems to matter … dreams have long faded

Obstructive attitudes have surfaced through the years

Blindness to the latter has deeply integrated

The given solitude that should deliver from all fears

Softly seems the call to self investigation

Look at the circumstance and purpose of your life

Time is after all measured in frustration

Since happiness enhances and delivers from inner-strife

Inches short from the dramatic … vision only on self

All others have disappeared if just in a moment

The Lord so pragmatic as I know so well

Won’t keep me here to drown in self-atonement
