Her mind flooded by judgment and oppression

Her body aching from hate

Her soul yearning to escape the cage it was forced into

She is only accelerating her fate

She is only accelerating what is intended

She doesn’t belong here on this earth

Because her lungs do not beg for air

They crave purpose and self-worth

But life is so beautiful and love surrounds you

There’s endless people whose sorrow drowns them too

So give me your fears, misery and confusion

And I will light your way through

Beat me with your insecurity

Throw your hopelessness in my arms

I will carry your burdens upon my shoulders

Cut me to relieve your self-harm

Let me take your disease

because death is not the answer

Depression can kill you

Just as Easy as Cancer
