Juanito

This story starts at a town

The name of the man Juan

His family nowhere to be found

A coyote come to take him away

Juan never had any reason to stay

All of his family gone

John had a method to get away

Juan had nothing left to long

So in the dead of night

Juan woke to a crashing sound

John arrived with a ticket for his flight

A long trek to be taken on ground

They were not allowed in the air

Always to live in fear

Still a life like an heir to air

To a kid so far but near

In twilight they walk

Lighted not by the bright sun

By the dark moon they stalked

The journey of really long run

A world so big to a man so young

With so much to give

All on his mind the air in his lung

Although not welcome he will live

Wanting nothing more than to be happy

He gave everything up

Just for once to be unhappy

To have worries like “where are my cups”

It was finally there, the moment of truth

They had reached the border

Couldn’t get caught by someone in a booth

Sadly in America there were hoarders

But nothing mattered anymore to Juan

Freedom, ready to fly

Hopefully free would also be his spawn

Free, he was in the sky

What a joy to be ever free

Now a game of hide and seek

Oh shit something had caught his knee

Everything was slowly weak

Oh god what’s been going on?

Just woke to this noise

I thought the rule brain over brawn

This wouldn’t have happened to kids

Where have I gone from my home?

This wasn’t worth the money

This was too far that I let myself roam

Oh hell what even is money?
