Invincible Girl

She thought she was invincible
19 and young
Invincible to the cops
Invincible to the shots
Invincible to a drive
That took her down a road late one night
She ran from the cops,
Filled with liquored shots
She took that ride
To heaven
Didn’t even say goodbye
Goodbye to her mother
Or her sister
No more I love you daddy
Don’t worry I will be alright
She thought she was invincible
But only in heaven is that possible
So gone like flash
From the car and a path
Gone from
Our lives
Taken by flight
So goodbye we said
You’re invincible now
So look over us
You’re invincible
Now
That your memory burns
You’re invincible now
