Infidelity

Her cold hands grip tightly around my throat,

I really should have thought this through.

Her eyes burn with the fury of a heart once broke

and I find betrayal makes a fitting noose.

Girls with golden hair and sunshine eyes

tempted my heart to sin

and though I turned them away nearly a thousand times

just once I let them win.
