Indigo Souls

Emotions that are undefinable,

Thoughts that are indescribable.

They seem to eat away at my happiness.

But I always wear a smile

and keep up a pretty exterior.

However the interior is bruised and

damaged, just easy enough yet

to manage.

Keep thinking of a positive future

And forget about the problems of

the past and present.

These indigo souls keep me glowing

And are the only people who

really know me.

They know my flaws and bad habits

But we still just chill and drop these

tabs of acid.

These things keep me alive

And with my friends,

I don't have to wear a disguise.

I can just fully be me.
