Imperfect Human

Location

My low seemed skin shreds the weight of those who bring me down
My maghogandy almond eyes capture the imperfections all around me
But my soul and mind know the true beauty in me

My arms, oh my arms, know how much work I have done
My face, my face of diversity, has been covered with lies
and hardened by insecurity

Speak to me lord
Why i must look this way

In the mirror I see myself
me
This who I am
The scars, the pores, this smile of mine so grand
is all of me
I AM human
All these imperfections make me, me
Therefore I am Beautiful
I am flawless
