I'm Beautiful

I'm beautiful and overweight.
I have a lazy eye that'll never change.
My feet are huge and my teeth are wrong.
But all these faults have made me strong.

I'm beautiful and emotional.
I've been abandoned, cracked, and burned.
I can fend for myself and hold my ground.
Very outspoken; very well rounded.

I'm beautiful and sometimes crazy.
I have the temper of a hive of bees.
Sometimes I curse more than a lady should.
And sometimes I forget what's bad and good.

I'm beautiful with my mom's afro hair.
My toes are crooked and my nose is weird.
I hate to shave, because I love being lazy.
And in the end... my boyfriend never tries to change me.

I'm beautiful and loved to drink.
I used to be absent minded and didn't think.
I got pregnant after barely knowing a guy.
But now we're happy, there's more than what meets the eye.

I'm beautiful and love cheap perfume.
I hate clothes and love being nude.
I don't clean my house as much as I should.
I usually fib and say I'm not feeling good.

I'm beautiful and crazy smart.
I love pre-calculus, but never do the work.
I complain a lot and love to play games.
But in the end I'd never want to change.

I'm beautiful and I love to read.
I have a sense of humor that is sometimes sickening.
I'm very sarcastic, sometimes without my consent.
I suck at cooking, but I love to pretend.

I'm beautiful and I dropped out of school.
I'm getting my GED instead of school.
But I'm still going to college in the fall.
My baby will be proud of her mommy after all.

I'm beautiful and I'll never change.
My scars and hurt have made me this way.
Strong and brave, with a heart of gold.
But to your eyes, maybe I'm not beautiful at all.
But that's okay.
You're beautiful to me.
