Identity

Black, Black, What is black?

I am African-American now thats a fact

Being a person of color does not differ me from others

My ethnicity is of many shades, like leaves changing colors in the fall phase

From European to Native I have a pinch of everyone in me

My skin color is not for everyone to see

Society says we are not the same color, but to me you are my brother

Same red blood, same white bones our skin color just come in different tones

Society only notice black and white instead of shades of gray, but what can I say soceity was trained that way

My race, my race is of human race, my personality compels of Godly grace

See not what the human eye see, see what your heart is set out to be.
