I Just Wish

Roommate,

I wish you knew.

I wish you knew your worth.

I wish you knew what is important.

How important your ideas are.

How important your beliefs are.

How important you are.

Roommate,

I wish you understood.

I wish you understood yourself.

I wish you understood your feelings

How things you say affect others.

How things that others say affect you.

How everything and everyone is affected

Roommate,

I wish you could see.

I wish you could see things through my eyes.

I wish you could see through a bystander's eyes.

How you are.

How he is.

How your relationship is.

Roommate,

I wish you'd believe.

I wish you'd believe in yourself.

I wish you'd believe somethings others say.

How you deserve better.

How you should find better.

How he isn't the one.

Roommate,

I wish you'd become.

I wish you'd become who you always dreamt you'd be.

I wish you'd become the person you should be.

How your mom thinks you are.

How you used to be

Not how he wants you to be.

Roommate,

I wish you would look.

I wish you would look at the world.

I wish you'd look at yourself.

How different you are.

How hurt you are.

And how he's the reason.

Roommate,

I wish you'd care.

I wish you'd care more.

I wish you'd care about yourself.

About your future.

About your health.

About the way you're treated.

Roommate,

I wish you'd choose.

I wish you'd choose to do better.

I wish you'd choose a better lifestyle.

Without negativity.

Without drugs.

Without him.

Roommate,

I wish you could have heard.

I wish you could have heard that night.

I wish you could have heard what I heard.

The loud yelling.

The hurtful words.

The terror in your voice.

Roommate,

I wish you could have felt.

I wish you could have felt the fear.

I wish you could have felt the anger

That I felt

That night.

That night that he did that..

Roomate,

I wish you could break.

I wish you could break the daze you're in.

I wish you could break the thing holding you back.

Break through to your instincts.

Break through his horrible fence that is controlling you.

Jensen,

I wish you'd beat.

I wish you'd beat the odds.

I wish you'd beat the feelings you have for him.

That is keeping you in the fence.

That is keeping you in the relationship.

I wish you'd beat it, before he beats you again.

Jensen,

I wish you would.

I wish you knew your worth.

I wish you understood your feelings.

I wish you could see how your relationship is.

I wish you'd believe you deserve better.

I wish you'd become who you've always dreamt you'd be.

I wish you would look at how hurt you are.

I wish you'd care more.

I wish you'd choose to do better.

Jensen,

I wish you'd gain the strength

To realize what happened that night.

To realize that won't be the only night.

To realize he's not a good person.

And to gain the strength to leave and save yourself.

I just wish.
