I hear America singing, the varied carols I hear, 

Those of missionaries bettering the world

through songs of joy and cheer,

The doctor singing as he saves another life, 

The father singing upon his return,

Children singing with joys of laughter as they skip home from school,

Policemen, firemen, and the troops,

Saving lives of numerous groups,

How wonderful the sound truly is,

And to have everyone singing along,

Singing with open mouths their strong melodious songs.
