A Home Away From Home

The loud shrieking of the small monkeys,

The frightening roars of the lions,

The soft quacking of the ducks.

The jagged squawking of the huge Birds of Prey,

The screams of joy of the little kids,

The deafening sound of the popcorn machines

The smell of burgers wafting from the café at lunch time.

The many friends I’ve made both human and animal kind.

The many memories I’ve made.

The powerful messages I’ve learned.

These all resemble home.

They welcome me with an outstretched hand.

They give me a purpose.
