Heaven

Slowly and sweetly arises my soul with a comforting, soothing fear.

A place, not a place, a man, not a man: Heaven! I'm finally here.

The guilt's gone away, tears flit to my eyes. Why do I cry in such bliss?

I fall to your feet, Lord, I fall to your feet and gratefully give them a kiss.

An imperfect soul, an unprecious man in a perfect and infamous place.

Redemption and freedom, forgiveness and love all overwhelm in your face.

I laugh and I cry, I scream out in joy. Finally, all is all well!

I stir in my sleep, come out of my dreams, and open my eyes unto Hell.
