He Is I

I need this

The thumping language of my chest pumps life into me

I remember seeing butterflies flutter,

Feel their wings brush my insides with the kisses of innocent love

I remember messages sent in hearts and paper airplanes and eyes that knew so little

Then I met life and love,

All in one day and in one syllable,

On the last night under dancing stars and waves erasing any voice but our own,

He took my heart in his tender hands

He took it and said he'd make it better

And he did

He is my life and my love

If I were to define love it is the sound of his voice,

The sprouts of laughter,

His glowing charisma,

And his eyes that see you raw and beautiful

He is every breath I take,

Every beat of my heart,

Scattered in pieces of my soul,

He is my life

Who could live without that...

Who could live without someone who has and forever will be a part of you?
