Happy Now

In this world you are no one.

You’re tired of being seen as a white piece of paper.

Then you see your wrist as a cry for help.

It was as clear as screaming “Save me!”

Having the control, the power, the secret, and the pain, you feel like you are someone besides that no one everyone else has slowly created over time.

You ask, “Why can’t they see?”

Your shirt is just a mask for your pain.

You wish this could just all be over.

So you can be as free as a dove in the sky.

You dream among the dreary and dreadful people.

Being happy, being free, that is all you want to be.

But you have so much fear people can smell it and you’re so blue people can see it.

Your flame has died along time ago

There’s more needed than a spark to light it back up, since your wood it wet from the tears you’ve cried.

Your world is upside down; the pain is now your savior.

For you are happy now, you are now a dove flying free among us all, you are happy now.
