Handwritten

They ask me my opinion

I raise my hand but regret my decision

I sit there and replay the question

but instead I pick up my pencil and write my recollection

A loud mind and college ruled lines keep my words documented

paper shifting with every pencil stroke

I expressed my feelings but never spoke

Written words

black and white like an old timey movie

they fill the page

different shades of lead I write what may never be read

different views

my thoughts are a play and the lines are a stage

Talking floods the background

I look around and it seems like comments are coming soon

the ones who stand out are doing the same thing as me

but writing differently

Handwritten notes are all I see

They show who you are and who you want to be

and do not forget to express them freely
