Freedom and the Price to Pay

The seemingly dark and damp

Feeling cold, alone, scared

The emptiness is loud

Screaming but no one cared

To be taken into light is being free

But with freedom comes the price

Of not knowing what could be

One door may close

And very few can open

My life is the sun setting

Never to return again
