Why do I have to be this way?

What do they want with me?

They have a lot of things to say,

Looks like I shall never be free.

Is there talk inside your head?

Do they tell you to hate what's in the mirror?

Do they want you alone or dead?

Don't worry you do not have to be a killer.

I can agree that the hopeless feeling blows,

But there are people for you, you just have to believe.

Put your faith in a friend, stranger or who knows

You just have to risk it all so you can achieve.

Once you take that first step your healing can begin.

Once you do this, those voices inside your head won't talk again.
