Free to be.

The land of brave

The land of the free

The land to be.

We stand here in awww as if we didn't vote for this change

As if we didn't cast ballets agreeeing to the terms of this contract.

We fuss and fight each other, but run from the bigger picture

The land of timid

The land of the caged

Why does it take so much to change so little

Sandra Bland,

Eric Garner,

Treyvon Martin

Young souls taken for what?

What message are we sending to other nations?

Come to the land of the free home of brave where you must be indoors before the street light shine, and must be scared to simply wear your hijab

This is not what I think it means to be free

This isn't bravery

This is murder,

Rasicism.

We are the land of the trapped souls, home to those who look and think like Tommy Hilfiger, Donald Sterling, and Donald Trump.
