Find My Identity

Appearance,

Is what we all care.

But identity

Is what really matters.

I didn't realize this once,

And I wanted to be like everyone.

Then I bumped into confusion,

And I lost my confidence.

Later I made some friends,

Their behaviors taught me how to stand,

With that proud sense

In my dear ethnicity,

That I finally find my place of belonging.

I'm holding on to my given identity,

And that's what is worth of me.
