*Poem is dedicated to my friend who tried to take her own life. How it would have been if she was successful in doing so*

Little droplets of hatred stream down her cheeks
As she finds a reason to stop being weak
She stares in front of a reflection glass
And wonders how long this nightmare will last

Hush, little baby. Don't you cry
Someone is out there to wipe your tears dry
You're not a failure; don't you know?
If only you would realize that though

She finds herself sleeping with a wet pillow every night
And dreams of the day that she will achieve her spotlight
Her blanket snuggles up with her body
And she wonders why she is not loved by anybody

Hush, little baby. Don't you cry
Don't worry at all because you'll get by
It may seem that life is not worth it at all
But hang in there because I don't want to see you fall

She brings a noose to her neck and lets go
Farewell mother, I didn't know
