The Fall From Grace

When I fell from grace

I was all over the place,

Standing on the edge,

Begging for a chance to start again.

I know I will never be what I want to be,

And the worst feeling in the world

Is the feeling of being alone,

And it gets worse when you realize

That the person that made you this way

Is the person staing back at you

Everytime you look into the mirror.

Although I fell from grace,

And I may no longer be the things I want to be,

It doesn't make a difference when I think about

How right now all I am wanting is to break free

From everything that is holding me back.

The edge may get closer

And the gace may be over

But the fight and the power will linger.
