Fairy God Mother

Locked in my tower

Laying in my bed at night

Laughing no longer

"Mother! Where art tho?"

"Mother? Do you hate me so?"

"Mother! I need you."

Placed in solitary

Pick me up and love me so

Please, please don't you go

I read of fables

In stories and tales of love

In poems, lyrics

She is kept away

Stolen, her joy before her

Someone hears her call

Rescued she has been

Remidied from tragedy

Relief fom the now

"Fairy God Mother?"

"Fine child, how you've been hurt."

"Finally, I'm home."

And then I wake up.
