Enclosed.

Location

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Barricade the door.

Board all the windows.

Cry.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Voices behind the door.

Scratching at the windows.

Panic.

“Don’t let them in!”

Banging on the door.

Clanging against the windows.

Run.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Shouting behind the door.

Shrieking at the windows.

Hide.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream

Splintering of the door.

Shattering of the windows.

Pray.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Silence behind the door.

Quiet by the windows.

Alone.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Busted down the door.

Shattered all the windows.

Cry.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Stampede through the door.

Hurtle through the windows.

Panic.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Tiptoe from the door.

Slink from the windows.

Still.

“Don’t let them in!”

I scream.

Shining through the door.

Glistening through the windows.

Pray

“Don’t let them in!?”

I question.

Love from the door.

Warmth from the windows.

Embrace.

“Don’t let them in?”

I question.

Lead to the door.

Encouraged passed the windows.

Someone.

“Don’t let them in?”

I question.

Laughter outside the door.

Giggling beyond the windows.

Wonderment.

“Don’t let them in?”

I question.

“Let yourself out.”

They answer.

Saved.
