An Eight Letter Word

by: Abigail Gyamfi

Looking at you now disappoints me,

You sacrifice and put yourself

In danger just for money,

After it all, you just hit and run.

We’ve been through your life,

Through the right and wrong,

So why is hard for you to pick between us or drugs.

Doing all of this to prove that you the baddest or the realest

Killing everybody, yet we wonder where's the love,

We’re all afraid to say somethin,

Afraid like we’ll end up like the rest,

Anyone wanna buy a heart,

Seems useless anyway,

I’ll treat it as  trash just like how you kept my feelings,

We all looking for the role models,

Looking for someone to guide us through the right path,

But it's hidden.

Let me remind that ,

Struggle,

An eight-letter word,

Can change the world.
