Dynasty Prologue

And how my heart did feel that day

When all alliance beat upon the crush'd

All hope of victory was deftly flush'd

By blood and for low price was I betrayed

But all in secrecy was soft relayed

And not an hour faster was it rushed

Nor at the table did my "ally" blush

The lowly cur did at his seat forestay

The sin of infidels was hid away

And cloaked were greed for power and her lust

Due to my errant place of trust

I lived not to my confidence belay

And thus my dynasty came to an end

By the hand of one counted as my friend.
