Disillusionment

I sowed tolerance and kindness

Into crimson earth

Noble seeds nurtured by quiet altruism,

Blessed by a watchful God.

I reaped denial and illusion

Saw a heart too tolerant

Tolerate a dishonest soul,

Acquiesce to an unknown god.

I sow tolerance and kindness

Into pure earth

Familiar seeds nurtured by a stentorian voice,

Blessed by dazzling rainbows.

I reap happiness and love

I see beautiful blossoms

I ignite a revolution.
