Dear Sophia

Dear Sophia,

I love you.

Because I love you,

I'll text you in class, although Mr. Roberts isn't very fond of it.

Because I love you,

I'll cheer for you at tennis practice, even after coach blows the whistle.

Because I love you,

I'll hold your hand through the halls, and all the way to Spanish class.

Because I love you,

I won't yell at you for talking to him.

Because I love you,

I'll buy you that kitten you keep telling me about.

Because I love you,

I'll massage your feet, and I'll never ask you to return the favor.

Because I love you,

I'll drive an extra 10 miles to take you home.

Because I love you,

I won't leave you, because I know how special you are.

Because I love you,

I'll miss class to see you.

Because I love you,

I'll care for you during your cancer treatment.

Because I love you,

I know you'll always love me.

Because I love you,

I know you'll love me too.

I hope you feel better.
