Dear Social Media; Look What You've Made

What the world presents on a silver platter, isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be...if you just zoom in on their bigger picture well everything becomes a blur and that, that’s your reality. Yes everything is a blur; because what everyone is looking for they can’t seem to locate it. So you have crying eyes hidden behind the highs of weed in the evenings and the lows from hangovers, patron in the mornings. But it all just looks so pleasing right? The Glamourous Life…On the contrary I know, I know it’s not your fault it’s drilled in your head that this is what you should want. But haven’t you ever heard that looks are deceiving? We chasing pleasing instead achievement; or is it pleasure? And everybody’s looking for the trueness behind religion and wearing uggs in the winter with the leather, jacket! We just mask it our problems thinking that if somehow we don’t ponder them, they’ll just lie down in a self-made casket, deferred….But that’s not how life works so really what the world has taught us, is how to put on a poker face And just Run til we can’t Run no more.
