Dear God

Wed, 12/27/2017 - 11:59 -- RLM

Dear God,

Where is my life going, what do you want me to do?

There have been so many things that I could say bring me close to You,

But they never seem to be the end.

I know my life isn't over, it keeps going until I die,

But now that I'm in college, I feel like I need to always ask for a guide.

So I'm asking You to show me.

Dear God,

I know I am here for You, and to share your life and death,

To tell the world of the freedom from sin, in Your son, You sent.

You are what we need.

I have a desire to be a nurse, and help people heal,

But the true healer is You, and I hope that people feel

You and Your love in me.

My life is nothing on it's own, even if I succeed.

The most meaningful life is one that waits, patiently, for You to lead.

You are God, You are Love, and You are Life.

Dear God,

The end is living with and for You, in everything I do.

My life has lead up to now, bringing me closer to Your truth, and You.

My life is going where You want; straight to You.
