the day I realized I was bi

I fall in love with the way people live

The way people are

Their eyes and how they crinkle when they laugh

The way their hair falls in just the right place

The feeling of their arms around you

The sound of your name coming from their lips

The hitch in their voice when they're emotional

The way they talk about their family and dreams and their life before you

The text they send you asking if you're alright

The way their hand fits within yours

The complete and utter unawareness they have of how much you're in love with them

Their chest as it rising and falls with their breath

The emotions they display in photographs

I fall in love with who people are and not what they are

And that's how I fell in love with you
