Within my heart lay a gap that I cannot fill

A gash within my emotions that lay unhealed

This wound inflicted bleeds deep within me

This stream of emotions wil never heed

A cloud of thoughts loom in my mind

This mind that light will never find

Basked in sullen thoughts of defeat and distress

Death remains the only thing that lays my mind at rest

I search for light within this dark cage

A path that may lead me to a new place.

I seek to find what my heart denies

As these whims of hope begin to die

 I crawl the steps towards freedom

Even though I fear there wil be none

In hope that one day this demon will be gone
