Dark

Dark, my limbs struggle through There is nothing to prove That the emptiness around me Isn't empty Where does it end? Where do I begin? Without guidance How do I fit in I've lost the torch That led me I've lost the source That fed me We inhale We intake We exhaust We must break We're broken and lost We're buried Beneath poison and ignorance We're carried Upon carelessness and greed We're ferried Where future and destruction Are married You talked of green As if you tried To use less oil Or control the tides Yet now we're imprisoned No bikes, no trees, no parks The lack of light The lack of hope The lack of green We're the reason it's dark
