I hike on concrete
toward concrete sky
My oppressors are as easy as nectar
from the mouths of flowers named in Latin

In the clouds I see insincere rabbits
and jagged dragons

I notice all the ways I can misuse
those frames of chartreuse
As grass they are called stubborn
and cut off a head

Rain's starting in
Empty jail cells flood
Sewage winds of the imagination make me turtle
