Confidence

Growing up I would always let people push me around,

But now I never even get close to the ground,

I'm flying.

I know that I am a strong young woman

no one deserves to feel anything less than strong,

powerful,

confident.

When I walk into a room,

and I see that all eyes are on me,

I used to hide my face and pray that they would look away,

But not anymore.

Now I stand straight and look at them right back,

I am a like a beautiful statue,

who is never going to crack.

Everyone who has a different opinion of me,

is simply a speck of dust floating in the wind.

I pay it no mind,

because I know,

that I am a strong CONFIDENT woman.
