Angels, as it is said, are here to protect,
To save us from pain, suffering and neglect.
My angels are here, on earth, across the sea,
Fighting for my country, for you and for me.

They fight for those who are lonely, sad, and angry inside,
They fight for those who are full of selfishness and pride.
They fight for those who are pure in mind and in heart,
And the things they go through, our imagination cannot even start.

I have a camouflage angel; I call his name brother,
Not because we shared a house, a dad or a mother.
He is a hero of war, no matter his fate,
I wish for his return, before it's too late.

I will be safe tonight, and hope my angels will too,
But I will still bow my head to pray for a few...

'God, please watch over my camouflage angels as they fall asleep tonight..
And through their sorrows, please help them fight...
For without angels, we are lost and dazed,
Please help my angels come home, and in their deepest souls…Changed.'
