Burning Bridges

Location

Circumstances may neglect you

No matter how people

Bring you down to feeble

And let your self-esteem low and blue

Only fools burn bridges

Of one’s failures and foes

One day you’ll meet them once again in repose

From every edge of the world and all its riches

Never forget their treasons

For they’re one of the reasons

Why you want to be successful.

One day, you’ll eventually thank them in full.

Burning bridges ends your chance

To become the person you dream to enhance
