The Bully Who Fed on Innocent Souls

A lion creeps
Through the grass
Silently stalking
A zebra unaware
Chewing the grass
Innocent and vulnerable
The lion’s eyes
See fresh meat
No thought comes
To the feelings of the zebra
The lion roars
And comes running
The zebra’s startled
It tries to escape
And wonders what
He had done
To deserve such a fate
But, as the lion knew,
The zebra was too slow
And the lion succeeded
The zebra fell prey
To the dastardly lion
Who fed on innocent souls
