From Brown to Blue

When you look in my eyes

Tell me what you see

Is it something extravagent?

Colorful, like a deep blue sea?

Oh, but it is not what you expected

A ring of brown and black, like coal

Nothing more than pure darkness

What you're staring at, you're staring at my soul

You've lost your words with nothing more to say

It has turned to night, we've lost the day

And I see a frown upon your face

But, I know it's hard to look away

So, tell me what you see

Is it beautiful like you?

I can tell you are dissapointed

I just wish I could turn from brown to blue
