Broken Beneath the Surface

I wont look too long when I know I wont like what I see,

When I look in the mirror,

I see what the world wants me to be.

The makeup,

The hiarspray,

The wieght,

It all has to be just right.

When its not, society will give you insight.

The clothes,

The shoes,

The scarves,

All of it goes to show how superficial we all are.

Its times to break out of the labels and steroetypes,

And create a new symbol of beauty.

Lets change this hipocracy, and be who we want to be.
